33 year old Ryan Vandenbussche will return to court August 29th to set a date for trial. Vandenbussche who was not present in the Simcoe courtroom this morning faces charges including assault causing bodily harm, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and threatening death or bodily harm. They stem from a brawl between OPP officers outside of the Turkey Point Hotel on the July 1st weekend. Initially Vandenbussche was charged with three counts of assaulting a police officer but one count was changed to assault causing bodily harm. He has been out on bail since July.
