Another workshop is being held today for those in leadership roles in the Diocese of London to help erradicate sexual abuse in the church. Bishop Ronald Fabbro is requiring all priests, deacons, and pastoral teams attend one of two workshops in an effort to educate and rebuild the church. The first workshop took place earlier this month near Windsor, where 165 people gathered. The second workshop takes place today in London. In August, former priest Charles Sylvestre, who once served in Port Dover, pleaded guilty to 47 counts of indecent assault involving young girls. A police report has since surfaced that suggests the Diocese may have known about Sylvestre's behavior more than 40 years ago.
